Quienes Somos - Al Sur Gallery
Al Sur Gallery was born in Buenos Aires with a deep conviction: the South is not a periphery, but an orientation. It is, above all, an invitation to look South.
Throughout the 20th century, Latin American avant-gardes imagined a South capable of redefining its own narrative. Al Sur Gallery continues that legacy, creating a space where contemporary art dialogues with history and territory.
Al Sur represents and develops the careers of contemporary artists in painting, photography and sculpture, both in the local and international market. The gallery promotes cultural exchange and positions Argentine art in the global conversation.

Dafne Cejas
@dafnecejasShe holds a degree in Art History from the University of Palermo (2026). She is an independent curator, curator of Espacio Cultural Barrakesh, and director of Galería AL SUR. Her first approach to art emerged during her travels around the world from a young age, while working as a model. Through visiting museums and cultural spaces, she established connections with fashion designers, photographers, and other creators. She is currently completing her thesis on the role of the body as a destabilizing force within the artistic field, based on a photographic series by Betty Page and Bunny Yeager (1954). As curator of Espacio Cultural Barrakesh since 2023, she manages and hosts emerging artistic projects and traveling galleries with a federal approach, removed from the mainstream. Her proposal seeks to decentralize the art scene and engage with the contemporary from alternative rhythms, contexts, and geographies. Since 2026, she has directed her own gallery, AL SUR.

Federico Rabinovich
@federicorabinovichArgentine visual artist based between Buenos Aires and New York. Photographer and filmmaker, he develops a practice centered on landscape, time, and the tensions between presence and absence. His approach to art began at an early age, linked to cinema and the moving image, exploring both photography and audiovisual language. Over the years, he has consolidated a body of work that engages with the modern tradition of landscape and reinterprets it through a contemporary and conceptual lens. Between 2023 and 2025, he developed Off Season: Wind Full of Space, a photographic series created in Southampton, New York, which explores the stripped-down landscapes of the northern hemisphere during winter as a metaphor for introspection and transformation. His work has been exhibited in the United States and Uruguay. Since 2026, he has co-directed Galería AL SUR, a platform focused on the international projection of contemporary Argentine artists and on building a cultural corridor between Buenos Aires, New York, and Milan.
